Playlist 04.06.2011: Merl Saunders, Link Wray, Dum Dum Girls, Charles Bradley

Wow, that's a shitload of coversongs on this week's show. It wasn't even intentional, but a good part of what was played yesterday were covers. Nice ones too!

Original material by the likes of The Smiths, ZZ Top, Kenny Rogers and Charles Manson covered by groups like Dum Dum Girls, Mastodon, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. What a hoot! Almost forgot to mention the originals from the likes of Kool & The Gang, Arctic Monkeys and The Night Marchers.
